Caroga: An Adirondack Town Recalls Its Past

In 1976, as a Bicentennial project, Barbara McMartin published the first edition of Caroga: An Adirondack Town Recalls Its Past. This project dedicated to a community she and her family have and continue to be a part of for generations brought a historical awareness to the town that led to the creation of the Caroga Historical Association and Museum.  In 1998 a second edition with updated material was published.  That edition is no longer available. This digital edition is designed to ensure that this story of the Caroga community continues for future generations. It is hoped that new chapters will be written as the story of the community continues.

Special thanks to Dick Loomis for scanning the illustrations and designing this digital edition.
